Descanso Rooms

Rocky Oaks Cabin is located in Descanso, California, on the private Hillside property of Gabriele and Hansi,

who are from Germany and your hosts. Nevertheless, one of Rocky Oaks Cabin features is privacy.

But if their guests need assistance in any way, they more then happy to help out.

They reside here with their two horses and their other little spoiled critters.

Descanso is a small country community in San Diego County,

east of Alpine and west of Pine Valley of about 2,162 residents.

The community's name is a Spanish , meaning a place of rest.

At a 3,450 feet (1,050 m) elevation it is located at the south entrance to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park

and also borders Cleveland National Forest to the west and east.

Rocky Oaks Cabin features a cozy kitchen

with views of the 6512 feet tall Cuyamaca Peak, an western-like bedroom,

and a spacious bathroom. Relax on the 20 X 8 foot front-porch ,

or have a barbecue at the backyard embedded in nature.

The entire backyard area is fenced and features beautiful rock-formations with a breathtaking view over to the south-west.
